Henry Martin Obituary

Martin, Henry “Skip” 90, of Greenfield. Passed away peacefully with his sons by his side on Wednesday April 17, 2024. He was the son of the late Charlotte and Pete Carlini, beloved husband of the late Mary (Soltez) Martin. Loving father of Norman, Michael (The late Gayle), and Douglas Martin. Grand-Pap of JoAnna, Sean (Emma), and Christopher. Great Grand-Pap of Kaitlin Hope. Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews who always enjoyed his company. Skip was an Army Veteran and retired employee of the US Steel Homestead Works, He also worked at the Civic Arena/ PPG Paints Arena for over 35 years. Skip enjoyed summers at Conneaut Lake with the family and many life long friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed golfing, especially at the annual TRAA Golf Outing for many years with his three sons at Conneaut Lake. He will always be remembered for his unconditional love for family and friends. The family would like to thank The Mercy Hospital Trauma Center for providing peace and comfort in Skips final days. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10A.M. in the Funeral Home.
